Installation guide
Read this before you order. It is the fastest way to avoid a return.
What you are signing up for
The module mounts inside the headlight. On most vehicles that means removing the headlight, softening the sealant, opening the housing, mounting the module, wiring it to a 12V source, and resealing. It is a real job. Plenty of people do it in a driveway in an afternoon, and any shop that has done a retrofit can do it faster.
Step 1 — Confirm the housing
Remove the headlight following your vehicle service procedure. Identify the projector bowls and confirm the count matches the set you ordered. One bowl per side takes the 2-module set, two per side takes the 4-module set.
Step 2 — Mount and wire
The module mounts behind the lens so the lit face is centred in the bowl. Run the harness out through an existing grommet where possible. Power comes from your 12V system — the exact tap point and the full wiring diagram are in the box.
Step 3 — Reseal, test, then reassemble
Test every function before the housing goes back together — it is far easier to fix now than after it is sealed. Reseal with a proper headlight butyl, reinstall all vents, and let it cure before driving.
Condensation
A resealed housing is only as good as the reseal. Take your time on this step, use fresh sealant, and do not skip the vents. Moisture damage caused by an improper reseal is not covered by the warranty.
If you would rather not
Take the kit and the wiring diagram to an installer. Shop labour is not included and is not reimbursed under warranty, so agree a price up front.
Before you drive with them on
Coloured or animated auxiliary lighting is restricted on public roads in many places. These are built for shows, meets and off-road display where it is permitted, and must never obstruct or replace your required headlights. Check your local rules first.
